About Sarah
Sarah R. Yasutake’s practice focuses on estate planning and trust administration. This includes preparation of revocable and irrevocable trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and other estate planning vehicles. Sarah's goal is to thoroughly understand her clients' circumstances and priorities so she can provide specific guidance and tailored plans that enable her clients to effectively and efficiently plan for their future and the future of their loved ones.
Prior to joining Ronca & Associates, Sarah practiced at another well-regarded San Luis Obispo law firm, primarily focusing on business and corporate transactional work. She started her legal career as an associate in the New York City office of a large, international law firm where she was a member of the mergers and acquisitions group.
Sarah graduated magna cum laude from the George Washington University where she received her Bachelors degree in Business Administration. She graduated cum laude, earning her J.D. from Albany Law School where she served as an editor on the Law Review. She was admitted to the New York bar in 2009 and the California bar in 2013.
Active in the local community, Sarah is a current board member of the Women Lawyer Association of San Luis Obispo, has served as a scoring attorney for local middle and high school mock trial competitions, and is an active member of the San Luis Obispo County Bar Association. Previously she served on the board of the Community Foundation of Estero Bay, volunteered for several years at a San Luis Coastal school, and served as a room parent and as secretary of that school’s PTA.
Sarah lives in Morro Bay with her husband and two school age children.
