John
A. Ronca Jr. was born August
3, 1952, in El Paso, Texas. He graduated from Mission
Catholic High School in San Luis Obispo, California in
1970. He attended Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and graduated
in 1975 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.
John then attended Pepperdine University School of Law
in Malibu, California and graduated with a Juris Doctorate
Degree (JD) in 1978. In 1979, John graduated from Denver
University School of Law, earning a Masters in the Laws
of Taxation (LLM).
In 1979, John began his law practice in San Luis Obispo, California,
concentrating in the areas of Estate and Business Planning. He was Certified
as a specialist by the California State Bar in the areas of Estate Planning,
Trust and Probate Law on February 22, 1991. Click

John has received the highest rating awarded by the prestigous
Martindale-Hubbell attorney
rating service. He is a member of the
California
State Bar Association and the
San
Luis Obispo County Bar Association.
John has written and published numerous articles and coauthored the Durable
Power of Attorney Handbook published by the California State Bar.
He is also a lecturer of Business Law at Cal Poly. John serves on the
Board of Directors of the San Luis Trust Bank, French Hospital, San Luis
Obispo Country Club, Old Mission Parish Advisory Council, Monterey Diocese
Stewardship Board and Catholic Charities, as well as the Rossi Foundation.
He is the Chairman of the Straight Down Fall Classic Golf Tournament.
John is married to Tracy and they have two children, Stephanie and Rachel.
